Each group envelope was encrypted in its author’s browser. A copy of its key was locked to the group reveal key. Once that key is posted, your browser unlocks each envelope and checks its fingerprint and the time the server recorded. Envelopes sealed after the cutoff are marked late. Private envelopes never appear here.
